 FireStar the Echidna  Physical age: 19 Gender: FSpecialty: Time distortionOccupation: UnemployedRelatives: All deadPersonality: FireStar doesn't like to ally with other people; she represents neither the side of good nor the side of evil. She's pretty much a loner, you could say. She doesn't try to show off; she only uses her powers when she feels that she needs them. She usually brushes off anyone who tries to talk to her, but if someone were to capture her attention somehow, her personality would flip and she'd be very friendly towards that person... but only towards that person. Abilities: FireStar can alter the passage of time by speeding it up or slowing it down; she can even maintain a "temporal hold" on some objects (or people!) to make time pass differently for them than for others. Her favorite trick is to make objects extremely hot, often making them catch fire (hence her name), by accelerating the molecules inside them. Unfortunately, controlling time takes up quite a bit of energy, and she can't do a lot of it without pausing to recharge. Also, she must release any "temporal holds" she's got as soon as she leaves the vicinity. History: FireStar grew up hundreds of years in the past, in the same echidna tribe that Tikal was a part of. She had her time-warping abilities from birth, but they were much stronger at the time. Unfortunately she could not learn not to use her powers recklessly, and was exiled from the tribe permanently for inciting... various disasters. Her soul damaged and her only friends separated from her for good, FireStar wandered the lands, flexing her powers. About two months later, she made a wild decision. She charged herself up and attempted to warp herself back in time to before she was exiled from her tribe, hoping to prevent it. But something went wrong, and instead she was thrown hundreds of years FORWARDS in time, past the near extinction of her former tribe, and ended up very close to the present day. The mishap had drained FireStar's powers a great deal, leaving them much weaker than before and rendering a return trip impossible. The incident also changed Firestar's mind; she gave up on getting her former life back, and refused to look for anyone else she could consider her friend, lest history repeat itself. Confused but sure that answers were out there, she has set out to try to discover what the fates have in store for her and in what direction she ought to take her life. --------------- Tool used: Photoshop CS, tablet Time taken:  Sketch: 30 min.
